8515 lead CP 291 through the curve in Plymouth, MN under heavy, 1 inch a hour snow.

An empty coal train heads south along the high water levels near the headwaters of the Columbia River. Yep, that is the same Columbia River that flows through Washington State.

Coal empties race westward on the former Milwaukee Road mainline as they head out of the Fort McCoy area. They prompted a good chase all the way from the depot in Tomah.

CP's hot autoparts train rolls through Columbus on main 2 with a pair of golden rodents up front. MOW has slapped a 40mph slow order though here until they can tamp the main.

I don't know how the 36.8 detector thought there was a hotbox on this train... the whole train is enveloped in snow. =)
